I love home inspection – exploring a house and finding out everything there is to know about it is rewarding and honestly, really fun. I get to be part detective, part technician, and part teacher.
Educating clients about their future homes is my favorite part of the job. If I can help you to understand everything that's going on with the house you want to buy, then I have done my job well.
I started out my career working for a home inspection company. It was great to work with a team and gain insight and knowledge from such a well-informed group. As part of my education I crawled around inside the InterNACHI "House of Horrors" – a defect-filled house custom-built inside of a warehouse to train home inspectors. I have completed hundreds of hours of training, am an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector, and I make it my business to be constantly learning about this profession.
