InterNACHI Certified Radon Tester
Your Inspector is an InterNACHI-Certified Advanced Radon Measurement Service Provider. We use calibrated, state-of-the-art, AARST-NRPP and NRSB-certified equipment to provide you with a prompt, accurate report of the radon levels in your home. Reports are delivered to us wirelessly, so you get them fast.
Crawl Space Robot
If necessary, we use an industrial crawlspace robot to augment your crawlspace inspection. At only 7.25″ high, the robot (which we have named "Ducky") can get into crawlspaces that few inspectors can physically access, and get high-quality images from the deepest, darkest reaches of your crawlspace.
InterNACHI Certified Infrared Tester
Your Inspector is an InterNACHI Infrared Certified Inspector. We use infrared photography in all our inspections, and this service is free of charge. Your home inspection does not include a complete thermal scan of the home (this is a much more extensive service – please contact us if you are interested in a complete thermal scan), but we do use infrared photography to check areas where there may be an issue that needs further investigation. Feel free to ask for a demonstration of this equipment at your inspection.
Drone Pilot
Your inspector is a licensed FAA Part 107 Drone Pilot. Sometimes, it's not possible to get to all of the roof on foot. If the best way to get a good look at your whole roof is with a drone, then that's what your inspector will use – there is no additional charge for this service.
Environmental Testing
Materials suspected to contain mold, lead or asbestos can be sampled and sent to an accredited laboratory, with results available two days after the inspection.
Wood-Destroying Insect Inspection
A wood-destroying insect inspection that meets FHA and VA requirements is available, with loan-specific forms if needed.
Public and Well Water Testing
Water testing that meets FHA and VA requirements is available with a two-day turnaround. Water is tested for lead, arsenic, ammonia, E. Coli, and total coliform bacteria, among other substances.
